Italy leader in the international pharmaceutical market

The Italian pharmaceuticals market looks to exports with a jump of 41.2% in the period 2018-2020. Thanks to its leadership in the vaccines market and in general in Covid-related devices, the European top ten in terms of turnover sees 5 Italian companies playing a decisive role in the market. A leading position also confirmed by the figures for machinery, which, with its 1356 million euros, represents 17.4% of the total turnover of the sector, which in 2020 reached a total value of 7.81 billion euros.
